Tour structure:
Day 1: Bishkek
Day 2: Bishkek - Alamedin gorge - Bishkek
Day 3: Bishkek - Konorchek - Chon Kemin
Day 4: Chon Kemin - Issyk Kul lake northern shore
Day 5: Issyk Kul - Grigorievskoye - Semenovskoye - Karakol
Day 6: Karakol - Kegen
Day 1: Bishkek
Your guide will meet you at the airport in order to accompany you towards the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek. The whole day will be spent in discovering the city. There are many wonderful historical monument and locations. For example during the day you will see Central Square, Oak Park, Victory square, Museum of Arts White house and many more. In the end of the tour you will be taken to the local bazaar in order to feel the atmosphere and see with your own eyes how the locals trade and all of the various goods that they sell. In the end of the day you will be taken to the hotel for the night.
Day 2: Bishkek - Alamedin gorge - Bishkek
The following day you will be taken to the Alamedin gorge. The gorge is very pretty, a short hike will lead you towards the waterfal. During the hike you will walk along the tall fir trees, river and you may even see a yurt - the dwelling that the local people live in with your own eyes. You will then have some time for the picnic by the waterfall. In the end of the day you will be brought back to the capital.
Day 3: Bishkek - Konorchek - Chon Kemin
Your tour will continue the next morning, you will travel through the Boom gorge. There you will stop in the Konorchek canyons in order to have a two hour hike there. In that time you will walk to a platform which will open up some great panoramic view for you. If you will not feel tired, you many spend another hour walking around and taking pictures before continuing towards your tour towards Chon Kemin. You will be staying in the guesthouse there for the night.
Day 4: Chon Kemin - Issyk Kul lake northern shore
The following day you will travel to the Issik Kul lake, It is very pretty and big. The lake is the second largest mountainous lake in the world. There will be a short stop by the collection of stones which have petroglyphs of hunt scenes and animals represented on them. They date back to 800BC. From that place you may also take several panoramic pictures of the Issik Kul lake. In the end of the day you will be brought to the hotel by the lake.
Day 5: Issyk Kul - Grigorievskoye - Semenovskoye - Karakol
The next day you will be going towards Karakol city. On your way there uyou will turn to the Grigorievskoye gorge which is linked with Semenovskoye gorge, thus you will pass through the two gorges, and enjoy the scenery while having a short picnic in one of them. Afterwards, you will arrive to the Karakol city. The city has two wonderful buildings, one of them is the Dungan mosque that was built in the Chinese style, without a single nail. The second attraction is the Russian Orthodox church which is fully wooden and looks very nice. In the end of the day you will be taken to the hotel for the night.
Day 6: Karakol - Kegen
In the morning you will be transferred to the Kazakh border.
