Day 5: Flight
After being welcomed at airport, you will straightly drive to observe the highlights of Almaty. Your first point of the tour will be the Green Bazaar. This popular place for visiting and it can be considered as an important sight. In this place you can receive a good discount, don't miss a chance to take colorful photos. In course of the tour you will discover one of the oldest Almaty parks - Panfilov Park. In the center of this wonderful park situated Zenkov Cathedral. Zenkov Cathedral is the highest orthodox place for Christians in the world, which has been built in 1907. After you will experience the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame. Eternal Flame was erected in 1975 . The opening has been dated for 30 anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War. After marveling around cultural surroundings of the city you will head on to the Medeo Gorge. Medeo Gorge is one of the most favourite vacation spots in the days off. The ice stadium contains 32,000 spectators. This place is famous due to skating rink. After you will explore the area of the Kok-Tobe hill. Kok-Tobe is hill of 1130 metres, located at height crystal pure air. You can wandering along the winding paths of the park and admire the magnificent panorama of the city from the special observation deck. Picturesque mountains are the face of Almaty. You can take pleasure observing them while you are taking the short ride from the top of the hill to the center of the city by the famous Almaty cableway. Transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Almaty - Tamgaly - Altyn Emel
Good morning lovers of nature! Today your tour starts with visiting Altyn Emel national park, and stopover at Tamgaly Tas on the way. We will pass by artificial Kapshagai water reservoir, last years the place became one of the most known resorts. After you will arrive to unique place Tamgaly Tas. Natural boundary Tamgaly-Tas that in transfer means «stones with signs». It is located in 170 kilometres to the northwest from Almaty, on right bank of river Ili. And then tour continues with driving hours to Basshi village, which is located at the territory of Altyn Emel National Park and have an excursion to the Singing Dune. In park it is possible to meet the rare versions of animals and plants, archeology monuments. Such rest will approach fans of ecological tourism. The main sight of park is «the Singing Dune», representing a dune in height of 150 metres and extent about 3 km. This sandy hill consists of very fine pure sand, which starts to "sing" in windy weather and its sound seems the organ music. After exploring this area, you will come back to Basshi village. Night will be in a cozy local hotel.
Day 3: Altyn Emel - Charyn - Almaty
You will drive today to Ash-tree Grove on the Temerlik River. In the lower reaches of the Charyn River and its tributary Temirlik there is a unique place. The favorite place is situated in a river basin of Charyn. Here travelers come to look at surprising canyons, and also fine relic wood. In 1964 the Ash-tree Grove has been given the status of the monument of nature. The place is popular due to rare plants like Ili oleaster, willow and poplar. It is some kind of open-air museum. After you will drive to Charyn Canyon. Near border with China, has one interesting place which necessarily should be explored if you sometime visit the area Almaty. The Charyn Canyon is the amazing gorge, one of the most beautiful places of Kazakhstan.On arrival, you will admire the grand panorama and then walk around 2 km through the maze of the Castles Valley. Charyn Canyon is a natural complex, unique in its kind not only in Kazakhstan but also worldwide. This canyon which sometimes name the younger brother of the Grand Canyon of Colorado River in North America.. Charyn Canyon is combined from sedimentary breeds and has rather solid age - more than 10 million years. Throughout many centuries the nature worked on creation of this surprising relief.Transfer to Almaty and overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Almaty - Big Almaty Lake - Almaty
The day starts with driving to Almaty Museum, one of the modern and interesting museums. En route you will explore Central State Museum of Kazakhstan. It is one of the oldest and biggest museums in Kazakhstan. In course of the tour you will pass Park of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It takes about 40 minutes to drive the Big Almaty. During the trip you can observe winding mountain paved road with glorious views, you will see the enchanting panorama of, color of which is always different depending on the weather. The Big Almaty lake - the picturesque reservoir located in spurs of Zailiisky Alatau, in 15 km to the south of a city. The reason of formation of lake became powerful earthquake which has caused a collapse of hillsides and occurrence of a bulk dam in the tideway of the river. On the way back to the town you will visit the Falcon Farm. There you will observe a spectacular show with specially trained hawks, falcons and eagles.
Day 5: Flight
Transfer to Almaty International airport.
