Day 1: Almaty
Our friendly guide will wait you at the airport. Then you will take short drive to Almaty city, Almaty is known as a southern capital of Kazakhstan and biggest city. City tour will start from Green Bazaar, where you can find different kind of things from fresh fruits to national souvenirs. Later you will walk to central park-Panfilov, named for the honor of the soviet commander during World War II. In the middle of the park, there is a glorious building, the Zenkov Cathedral. It is the world’s most charming wooden construction. Before going to the Medeo gorge out of the town, you will explore more cultural sites of the city. Medeo Gorge on the south side of the city has the highest alpine outdoor skating rink in the world. Especially during the Soviet time, it was very popular among athletes. Further up on the gorge there is a ski resort Shymbulak. When you come back to the city, you will climb to Kok-Tobe hill, where there is a panoramic view of whole city. Furthermore, there is a TV tower that considered to be highest in the world, if we count from the sea level. On the way back, you the city, you can take a cableway. Night in a hotel.

Day 2: Almaty – Issyk lake – Almaty
Today’s tour will be to the most charming gorge of Trans-Ili Alatau. Issyk Gorge is located on the Kuldja tract. Centuries ago, the place were full of caravans from East and West, travelling on the Silk Road. En route we will be able to visit the Kazakhstan State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “ISSYK”, here you can see the large permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of the Saka-Scythian tribe. Moreover, there is a copy of the famous Golden Man and many other artefacts like ancient ceramics, weapon, elements of horse equipment, as well as the model of the burial mound belongs to Saka tribe. Further you will travel along the gorge to the Issyk lake, which is located at the altitude of 1756 m. Here you will relax at the brilliantly blue colored lake and enjoy birds singing around. you guide will tell you about natural events happened in 1963. After relaxing nature leisure, you will drive back to the city. Overnight will be in a hotel.

Day 3: Almaty – Kolsai Lakes
Today you will continue your adventurous tour to Kolsai Lakes, one of the most beautiful in Kazakhstan. There three lakes located in these area, one beautiful from another. Today you can have an opportunity to reach second lake by hiking. The first Kolsai lake can be easily accessible by car, that’s why it is very popular destination in summer time. Here you can find any kind of activity, starting from gathering mushrooms and berries to fishing special kind of mountain trout. Altitude drop of three lakes differs about 700meters and walking distance between them are two-three kilometers. All lakes are surrounded with high spruce and lush meadow. If you find you cozy spot and lie down, you can see some Marals, mountain goats, wolves and even bears, grazing on the top of the mountains. Drive back to Saty village and overnight will be in a guesthouse.

Day 4: Kolsai Lakes – Kaindy Lake
Today we will travel to another great lake Kaindy to continue your tour. The history of the lake is very interesting and goes back to century ago. Once when there was an earthquake, the side land of the mountain cascaded down and blocked river going down to the gorge. The water covered all the trees between mountains, since 1911 it was known as a sunken lake. Depending on the time of the day the water changes its color into turquois of just mirroring spruce forest and snow-top mountains. Even in summer time the water of the lake is freezing cold, that is why the needles of the flooded trees are well preserved and clearly visible through the transparent surface of the water. High trunks of the threes make a feeling of sunken ship in the sea. We will have picnic lunch sitting by the water, enjoying the view and think about your dreams. Having fully enjoyed the virgin beauty of the nature return back to Saty settlement (a small village in south of Kazakhstan), where you can have a walking the village or order horseback riding(for extra payment). Overnight in a guesthouse.

Day 5: Kolsai Lakes – Charyn Canyon – Almaty
Today you will travel back to Almaty city. On the way of our tours, you will visit mysterious place- Charym Canyons. Charyn Canyons are known as a little brother of Great Canyons in the US. Amazing formations of colorful rock was formed, millions of years ago by the erosion of water, wind and the sun. Nowadays, the most famous part of the canyon is Valley of Castles, which can reach about 300m high and stretches for more than 150km. If you go down and follow the track to the river, you will feel yourself in a fairy tale. The river crossing some parts of the canyon offers great destination for rafting. If you decided not to walk, you deserve great view on the observatory point near the parking place. Return back to the city and spend night in a hotel.

Day 6: Flight
After delightful journey to Kazakhstan land, we will say bye to you at the airport.
