Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul Lake
You will be collected by your guide from International Airport of Manas and accompanied to Bishkek City. Drive from the Airport to Bishkek takes 30 minutes. On arrival in Bishkek you will commence the day with a breakfast. Transfer (200 km.) from Bishkek to the heavenly Issyk Kul Lake (1608 m. above sea level). On our way to the lake, we will visit the Burana Tower Architectural Complex that includes the minaret from the 11th century A. D. and an open air museum of Balbans - stone warriors. We continue our way to the lake after having taken a traditional lunch. Issik - Kul is the 2nd largest alpine lake in the world after the Lake Titicaca in South America. The Lake is also called "the pearl of Central Asia". On our arrival in Hotel on the northern shore of the lake you will have a spare time, you can lie on the warm sandy beach or to swim in the lake. Lake Issyk Kul possesses curative qualities thanks to the salty water. At 7 p.m. your dinner will be served.
Day 2: Issyk Kul Lake - Karakol
After having breakfast that is served at 8 o'clock, till 11 o'clock you will have spare time. Later on, you will be transferred by car (200 km) to Karakol town that is administrative and cultural center of Issik - Kul Region. Before driving to Karakol, we will visit in Cholpon - Ata the ancient (dating back to 800 B.C.) carvings on the boulders, as well as the local museum that is dedicated to the history of Issik - Kul Region. At 12 o'clock, in relaxed atmosphere you could enjoy your lunch, before continuing our trip to Karakol town along the northern shore of sparkling Issik - Kul. During another break, you will be able to admire its beauty in full, when you go on 1 hour cruise on a steam boat. The night is spent in the guesthouse. At 8 o'clock in the evening national dinner is served.
Day 3: Karakol - Tamga
At 8 o'clock you will be served with your breakfast. This whole morning will be dedicated to a guided Karakol City Tour. With your guide you will visit, first of all, the Dungan - Chinese Mosque. During this excursion the fact that it is built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail will be highlighted. This will be followed by the visit of the old wooden Orthodox Cathedral. Later on, you will visit M.V. Prejvalsky museum. Prjevalsky was one of the world's greatest explorers, whose biggest achievements were the crossing of the great Taklamakan Desert and the discovery of more than 4000 species of animals, including the Horse that was later named after the explorer. The City Tour will be ended with a traditional lunch and we leave Karakol starting our way (30km) to the impressive Jeti Oguz at 1 p.m. Jeti Oguz is the gorge of 7 red rocks. You will see the Broken Heart Mountain and the Sanatorium (where you can take a hydro shower or get a massage session). We will explore Jeti Oguz Valley (Yuri Gagarin's holiday's house, yurts, alpine vegetation that represented here in abundance) or Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley with its hot spring water and Geophysics Station that was built in 1948. Transfer to Tamga Village. Tamga was a place where ancient Tibetan monks lived in the 13th century, but these days it is village with predominantly Russian population. In the Tamga Guesthouse, dinner will be served, there you will also spend the night; optionally you can go to sauna.
Day 4: Tamga - Bokonbaiva - Kochkorka (120km)
Breakfast will be served at 9 o'clock in the morning. Then you have time to have a rest on the southern beach of the Issyk Kul Lake (till 12 o'clock) or to explore the village of Tamga. Afterwards we start our trip to Kochkor Village by vehicle. We will have a break in Bokonbaevo Village, where lunch will be served in the house of a local eagle-hunter. He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles (traditional way of nomads hunting). An eagle hunting show can be arranged. Afterwards, we will continue our way to Kochkorka via Orto-Tokoi water collecting reservoir. In Kochkor you will meet a family that shows you the way of how national woolen felt carpets are produced. You even can create your own carpet. You will have a traditional dinner with a local family, accompanied by a special national music show. The night will be spent in the Guesthouse of Kochkor.
Day 5: Kochkorka - Son Kul Lake
After breakfast we start our drive to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul Lake. Lunch will be taken on the way. Son Kul Lake is surrounded by mountains and it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. Since ancient times Kyrgyz nomads started to come to this wonderful area with their families for rest and relaxation. Herders of the Naryn region come to the lake to use it as a pastureland. After our arrival, you will be free to explore and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay are in the collapsible nomadic houses - yurts.
Day 6: Son Kul Lake (3013m. above sea level)
After breakfast that is served at 9 o'clock in the morning you will have a spare time at Son-Kul Lake that will give you the opportunity to discover its nature on your own. Optionally, you can ride along the lake on a horse, or just relax on the lake's shore and admire the calm nature of the environs. Your lunch will be served at 2 p.m. This day you will also see also the ancient petroglyphs - carvings on the stones, as well as the shamans' ritual stones. This day gives you a great chance to understand better the nomadic way of life and magnificent culture. Dinner will be served in the nomadic houses - yurts. Yurt is built without nails. It is made out of wooden carcass, which is covered with felt. This night you spend in yurt like a nomad.
Day 7: Son Kul - Bishkek
At 8 o'clock you will have your breakfast. After that we start our trip back to Bishkek (the Kyrgyz capital city). Upon arrival in Bishkek, you will have guided city tour. During this sightseeing tour you will visit the central Square of Ala-Too, the History Museum, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Art Gallery, Pobeda Square (Victory Square), National Philharmonic, Oriental Osh Bazaar, and many others places that will attract your attention. You will be also given a separate plan, listing all places to visit, including their brief description. Overnight is in the hotel****. A farewell dinner is served at 7 p.m.
Day 8: Bishkek - Europe
You will be collected from the hotel at the time arranged previously according to your flight details and accompanied you to the Airport of Manas.
