Kyrgyz republic is the country of the untouched nature and bright customs.The experienced travelers have a saying «If you have not seen Central Asia, you have not seen the world!". You can not imagine how many places you are going to see! During your tour you will visit Burana Tower - the minaret of 11th century; the second world's largest lake - Issyk-Kul; and the ancient Caravanserai of Tash Rabat (Stone Castle), primeval stone carvings, mosques, churches and many other interesting places. You will find out about the nomadic way of life, try national dishes and drinks.Places to visit: Bishkek - Son Kul Lake - Tash Rabat Caravanserai - Kochkor valley - Tamga village - Karakol - Karakol - Bishkek
Day 1: Bishkek city
Your guide will collect you from Manas Airport and accompany you to Bishkek City (30 min. drive), where you will start the day with a breakfast. The entire day is dedicated to a guided Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. The tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. You will spend the night in the hotel****. Traditional dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
Day 2: Bishkek - Son Kul Lake
We start our drive to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul after breakfast. Lunch will be taken on the way. Kyrgyz nomads started to come to this wonderful area with their families for rest and relaxation. Son Kul Lake is surrounded by mountains and it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. You will be free to explore and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its surrounds upon our arrival. Herders of the Naryn region come to the lake to use it as a pastureland for their cattle. Dinner and overnight are in the yurt camp.
Day 3: Son Kul Lake - Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone castle)
You will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock after packing your baggage. After that you will be transferred to the Tash Rabat that is located at the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains at a height 3200 m above sea level. Tash Rabat (Stone Castle from the 14th century) is caravanserai that was used by the Silk Road traders to shelter from the foul weather and bandits. This building is a unique one, it has no analogue in the whole world, because it was made of stones and besides that it was built inside the mountain. There are 31 rooms, which are connected with the central chamber with maze. The thickness of walls is 1 meter. Inside this structure, there are also underground prisons for medieval thieves. At 7 p.m. traditional dinner will be served. You will spend the night near by the Tash Rabat caravanserai in yurt camp.
Day 4: Tash Rabat - Kochkor Valley
Strengthening breakfast. Transfer (185 km) from Tash Rabat to Kochkor Village. In the Kochkorka Village the felt show will be organized for you to demonstrate the way of how national woolen felt carpets are produced. During this felt show you even can make your own carpet. Overnight is in the Kochkor Guesthouse. With a local family you will have a traditional dinner that will be accompanied with national music.
Day 5: Kochkor valley - Tamga village
Breakfast is served at 8 o'clock. Then you will be transferred to the celestial Issyk-Kul Lake (200 km), the second largest alpine lake in the world (1608m.above sea level). The Lake is also called "the pearl of Central Asia". On the way you will drive through the gorgeous valley and you will pass the Orto Tokoi reservoir. As soon as we are in Tamga Village you will have a rest on the southern beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sand or swim in the lake. Thanks to the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul possesses healing properties. Your dinner will be served at 7 o'clock in the guesthouse of Tamga, where you will also spend the night.
Day 6: Tamga - Karakol
8 o'clock breakfast. Till 12 p.m. you have time for leisure or to swim in the lake. After that is the transfer (50km) to Karakol town by vehicle. Upon your arrival in Karakol you will take lunch. Then you will have a guided Karakol City Tour. The tour includes the visit of the Dungan mosque. One of its highlights is the fact that it is built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. This will be followed by the visit of the old wooden Orthodox Holy Trinity Cathedral. Later, you will visit the museum of Prjevalsky, one of the world's greatest explorers. Prjevalsky biggest success was the crossing of the great Taklamakan desert and the discovery of more than 4000 animals, including the horse that was later named after the great explorer. Night is in the guesthouse. National dinner will be served at 8 p.m.
Day 7: Karakol - Bishkek
At 8 o'clock breakfast is served. You will be transferred (120km) to Cholpon Ata city along the northern shore of the sparkling pearl of Central Asia - Issyk-Kul Lake. En route, at 1 pm we will make a short break and you can enjoy lunch in a relaxed ambiance. In Cholpon - Ata you will have the opportunity to visit ancient (dating back to 800 B.C.) stone carvings, including the local museum of Issyk - Kul. After that you will be transferred (280km) to Bishkek city by vehicle through a stunning Boom Gorge. Night is in the Hotel****. At 7 p.m. a farewell dinner is served in the café.
Day 8: Bishkek - Europe
At the time arranged previously according to your flight details your guide will collect you from the hotel and accompany you to the International Airport of Manas.
